1. 1991 Jeffrey Dahmer - The Milwaukee Cannibal Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jeffrey Dahmer murdered 17 men and boys over 13 years. His crimes included dismemberment, necrophilia, and cannibalism. He was caught when a victim escaped.
2. 2011 Norway Attacks and Utoya Massacre Utoya / Oslo, Norway A lone far-right extremist bombed government buildings in Oslo then shot dead 69 people at a youth camp on Utoya island, killing 77 in total.
3. 2016 The Munich OEZ Shooting Munich, Germany An 18-year-old gunman opened fire at and around the Olympia shopping centre in Munich, killing nine people, most of them teenagers, before taking his own life.
