True Crime Cases in Eswatini

Eswatini, the small southern African kingdom formerly known as Swaziland, sits at the quiet edge of the true-crime record. The cases I have mapped here are few, and that scarcity is worth noting: this is not a country defined by such crimes.

The case that anchors this page is David Simelane, often called the country's deadliest killer. He lured women with false job offers, then murdered them and buried them in shallow graves, including sites around Malkerns, with at least 28 victims attributed to him.
